Has (2/4)

  • But He knows the way that I take;
    When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.
    My foot has held fast to His steps;
    I have kept His way and not turned aside.
  • The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
    Because He has anointed Me
    To preach the gospel to the poor;
    He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
    To proclaim liberty to the captives
    And recovery of sight to the blind,
    To set at liberty those who are oppressed.
  • There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
  • And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.
  • As far as the east is from the west,
    So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
  • The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
    Because the Lord has anointed Me
    To preach good tidings to the poor;
    He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
    To proclaim liberty to the captives,
    And the opening of the prison to those who are bound.
  • He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.
  • As a father pities his children,
    So the Lord pities those who fear Him.
  • If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
  • Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
  • When a man has taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war or be charged with any business; he shall be free at home one year, and bring happiness to his wife whom he has taken.
  • Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
  • Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
  • Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
  • But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.
  • The vine has dried up,
    And the fig tree has withered;
    The pomegranate tree,
    The palm tree also,
    And the apple tree—
    All the trees of the field are withered;
    Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men.
  • Who has performed and done it,
    Calling the generations from the beginning?
    ‘I, the Lord, am the first;
    And with the last I am He.’
  • And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.
  • I love the Lord, because He has heard
    My voice and my supplications.
    Because He has inclined His ear to me,
    Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.
  • Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
  • You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.
  • For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
  • When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it;
    For He has no pleasure in fools.
    Pay what you have vowed.
  • For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake.
  • There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
