- So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
- He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law,
even his prayer shall be abomination. - He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
- But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
- When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
- But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
- Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
- My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
when shall I come and appear before God? - Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
- He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
- And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
- For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
- For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- For with God nothing shall be impossible.
- For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. - Therefore I will look unto the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation:
my God will hear me. - In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
- Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise. - No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God.Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.Next verse!With image
