| All those who keep his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And the proof that he abides in us is the Spirit that he has given us. | And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. |
| Take heed to follow the commandments and the laws that Moses, the servant of the Lord, gave you: to love the Lord, your God, and to walk in his ways and to observe his commandments, holding fast to him and serving him with all your heart and all your soul. | But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. |
| The misfortunes of the righteous man are many, but the Lord delivers him, from all of them. | Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. |
| Rather, professing truth and love, we will in all things grow into him who is the head, Christ. | But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ. |
| No one has ever seen God. It is the only Son, God, who is at the Father’s side, who has made him known. | No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. |

| Then Peter addressed them: “I now understand how true it is that God has no favorites, but that in every nation all those who fear God and do what is right are acceptable to him.” | Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. |
| And thus we can have confidence in him that if we ask anything that is in accordance with his will, he hears us. | And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. |
| When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you, to bless you by turning each one of you from your wicked ways. | Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. |
| For the Lord, your God, is gracious and compassionate, and he will not turn his face away from you if you return to him. | For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him. |
| Although it was our afflictions that he bore, our sufferings that he endured, we thought of him as stricken, as struck down by God and afflicted. | Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. |
| God’s love was revealed to us in this way: God sent his only-begotten Son into the world so that we might have life through him. | In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. |
| This is the commandment we have received from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. | And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. |

| But as for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and therefore you do not need anyone to teach you. | And whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. | And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. |
| Anyone who has received my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him. | He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. |
| If we claim that we have fellowship with him while we continue to live in darkness, we are lying and do not live in the truth. | If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. |
| She will give birth to a son, and you shall name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. | And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. |
| If you confess with your lips, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. | That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. |
| Rather, grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for all eternity. Amen. | But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. |
| Therefore, he has the full power to save those who approach God through him, since he lives forever to intercede for them. | Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. |
| Behold, we are now going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and the scribes, and they will condemn him to death. Then they will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and scourged and crucified, and on the third day he will be raised to life. | Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again. |
