    but he who restrains his lips does wisely.
  • Do all things without complaining and arguing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world, holding up the word of life.
  • Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
  • Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is counted wise.
    When he shuts his lips, he is thought to be discerning.
  • Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh.
    Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.

For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. Then the two will become one flesh.
