Chinese (traditional)- Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
- Surely God is my help;
the Lord is the one who sustains me. - The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all. - For the Lord loves the just
and will not forsake his faithful ones.
Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed;
the offspring of the wicked will perish. - The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.
- For those who find me find life
and receive favor from the Lord. - Better the little that the righteous have
than the wealth of many wicked;
for the power of the wicked will be broken,
but the Lord upholds the righteous. - Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.
- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
- Houses and wealth are inherited from parents,
but a prudent wife is from the Lord. - Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
- Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face always. - Many are the plans in a person’s heart,
but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. - Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
- The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners. - And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
- Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord. - Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
- He who finds a wife finds what is good
and receives favor from the Lord. - Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
- Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
who walk in obedience to him. - Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord.
- For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God? - The Lord sends poverty and wealth;
he humbles and he exalts.
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. You are my hiding place;
you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance.Next verse!With image
