That they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.For they said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, indulging their own ungodly lusts.” It is these worldly people, devoid of the Spirit, who are causing divisions.
So teach us to number our days, That we may present to You a heart of wisdom.So teach us to count our days that we may gain a wise heart.
Praise the Lord! Blessed is a person who fears the Lord, Who greatly delights in His commandments.Praise the Lord! Happy are those who fear the Lord, who greatly delight in his commandments.
Not that I speak from need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.Not that I am referring to being in need; for I have learned to be content with whatever I have.
Behold, happy is the person whom God disciplines, So do not reject the discipline of the Almighty.How happy is the one whom God reproves; therefore do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.
But He said to them, “Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one is affluent does his life consist of his possessions.”And he said to them, “Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.”
Now the birth of Jesus the Messiah was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit.Now the birth of Jesus the Messiah took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been engaged to Joseph, but before they lived together, she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit.
By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and now it is already in the world.By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. And this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming; and now it is already in the world.
But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many.But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died through the one man's trespass, much more surely have the grace of God and the free gift in the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abounded for the many.
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked, what is perverted.The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked what is perverse.
One who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor one who loves abundance with its income. This too is futility.The lover of money will not be satisfied with money; nor the lover of wealth, with gain. This also is vanity.
Only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.Only fear the Lord, and serve him faithfully with all your heart; for consider what great things he has done for you.
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
Because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin.For “no human being will be justified in his sight” by deeds prescribed by the law, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
And on that day you will say, “Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; Make them remember that His name is exalted.”And you will say in that day: Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known his deeds among the nations; proclaim that his name is exalted.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.
Because Your favor is better than life, My lips will praise You. We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.
The one who keeps His commandments remains in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He remains in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that he has given us.
The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and just is He.The Rock, his work is perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God, without deceit, just and upright is he.
For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up!For if they fall, one will lift up the other; but woe to one who is alone and falls and does not have another to help.
But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, to the extent that He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises.But Jesus has now obtained a more excellent ministry, and to that degree he is the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted through better promises.
So, having obtained help from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, stating nothing but what the Prophets and Moses said was going to take place, as to whether the Christ was to suffer, and whether, as first from the resurrection of the dead, He would proclaim light both to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.To this day I have had help from God, and so I stand here, testifying to both small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would take place: that the Messiah must suffer, and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.
And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.And hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?Examine yourselves to see whether you are living in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless, indeed, you fail to meet the test!
