- Yet I have been the Lord your God
ever since the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! - I am coming soon; hold fast to what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.

for I am merciful,

I will not be angry forever. - I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you.
- Father, I desire that those also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.
- For I am not ashamed of the gospel; it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
- Instead, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in all your conduct; for it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

to be found by those who did not seek me.
I said, “Here I am, here I am,”
to a nation that did not call on my name. - Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little while longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”
- Hear my prayer, O Lord,
and give ear to my cry;
do not hold your peace at my tears.
For I am your passing guest,
an alien, like all my forebears. - Even to your old age I am he,
even when you turn gray I will carry you.
I have made, and I will bear;
I will carry and will save. - Very truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.
- If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
- I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one.
