For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”For this is what the high and exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, says: “I dwell in a high and holy place, And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit In order to revive the spirit of the lowly And to revive the heart of the contrite.”
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.Certainly goodness and faithfulness will follow me all the days of my life, And my dwelling will be in the house of the Lord forever.
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.
Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.”’Return and say to Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David says: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I am going to heal you. Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.Even if the fig tree does not blossom, And there is no fruit on the vines, If the yield of the olive fails, And the fields produce no food, Even if the flock disappears from the fold, And there are no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will triumph in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever.I will exalt You, my God, the King, And I will bless Your name forever and ever.
Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.
