- But now, O Lord,
You are our Father;
We are the clay, and You our potter;
And all we are the work of Your hand. - Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

- Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit. - Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions;
According to Your mercy remember me,
For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord. - But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ.
- For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
- Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
- The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
