| And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? | So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. | Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts. | Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. |
| Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. | In addition to all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. |
