Chinese (traditional)- No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends.
- But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.
- For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving,
abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you. - Finally, all of you, have unity of spirit, sympathy, love for one another, a tender heart, and a humble mind.
- He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
- And steadfast love belongs to you, O Lord.
For you repay to all
according to their work. - Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.
- If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
- Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands and call on your name. - Love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor.
- If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
- With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
- Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
- You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
- Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
- And ‘to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength,’ and ‘to love one's neighbor as oneself,’—this is much more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.
- But I will sing of your might;
I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
For you have been a fortress for me
and a refuge in the day of my distress. - May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.
- In the same way, husbands should love their wives as they do their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
- He has told you, O mortal, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God? - Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
and those who love it will eat its fruits. - But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.
- The Lord, your God, is in your midst,
a warrior who gives victory;
he will rejoice over you with gladness,
he will renew you in his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.
Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from one person's envy of another. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. What my Father has given me is greater than all else, and no one can snatch it out of the Father's hand. The Father and I are one.Next verse!With image
