- Arise, Yahweh!
God, lift up your hand!
Don’t forget the helpless. - God will bless us.
All the ends of the earth shall fear him. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God. - You shall serve Yahweh your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.
- Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.
- There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
- In my distress I called on Yahweh,
and cried to my God.
He heard my voice out of his temple.
My cry before him came into his ears. - You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you.
- Glory to God in the highest,
on earth peace, good will toward men. - Yahweh, you are my God. I will exalt you! I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago, in complete faithfulness and truth.
- For you, God, have tested us.
You have refined us, as silver is refined. - As the deer pants for the water brooks,
so my soul pants after you, God. - But he said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
- Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
- Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.
- When I am afraid,
I will put my trust in you. - Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a right spirit within me. - For you will light my lamp, Yahweh.
My God will light up my darkness. - Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.
- Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is one. You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.
- Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
- Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.
- For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
