- The way of God is blameless;
the Lord’s promise has proved true.
He is a shield to all
who take refuge in him. - He is a rock, his deeds are perfect,
and all of his ways are just.
He is a God of truth who does no wrong;

that Jesus is the Son of God? - “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “the one who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
- To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - He is the head of the body,
that is, the Church.
He is the beginning,
the firstborn from the dead,
so that in every way
he should be supreme. - Every word of God has proved to be true;
he is a shield to those who trust in him. - There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save or to destroy. Who then are you to pass judgment on a neighbor?
