- Blessed is he
whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
- Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
- For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
- For the Lord is our judge,
the Lord is our lawgiver,
the Lord is our king;
he will save us. - For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. - Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah. - The desire of a man is his kindness:
and a poor man is better than a liar. - This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
- Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
- Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
- As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. - Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:
but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. - Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
- As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. - And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable. - O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. - And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth.Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.Next verse!With image
