- An honorable name is more to be desired than great riches,
and high esteem is preferable to silver and gold. - There is no salvation in anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to men by which we can be saved.

is from God,

This is the spirit of the Antichrist,
about whose coming you have been told,
and that it is already in the world. - Everyone who sins breaks the law,
for sin is lawlessness. - Wives, be subject to your husbands as you are to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head of the Church, the body of which he is the Savior.
- In the same way, faith by itself is dead if it does not have works.
- Yours, O Lord, are greatness,
power, glory, strength, and majesty,
for everything in heaven and on earth is yours.
Yours, O Lord, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all. - There is no one on earth who is so righteous
that he does nothing but good and never sins. - Your word is a lamp for my feet
and a light to my path. - Whoever does not love
does not know God,
because God is love. - A true friend is one at all times,
and a brother is born to render help in time of need. - Where many words are spoken, sin is not absent,
but whoever restrains his tongue is prudent. - For there is one God,
and there is one mediator between God and man,
Christ Jesus, himself a man. - For where your treasure is, there will your heart also be.
- For this day in the city of David there has been born to you a Savior who is Christ, the Lord.
- He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress, so that I stand ever unshaken. - Indeed, the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- For our eyes are fixed not on what is seen but rather on that which cannot be seen. What is visible is transitory; what is invisible is eternal.
- So today acknowledge it and take it to heart that the Lord is God in the heavens above and on the earth below. There is no other.
