The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

It is a trap to dedicate something rashly and only later to consider one’s vows.It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make enquiry.
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.”But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
It is to one’s honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel.It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
