Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. | In the same way, faith also, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself. |
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. | So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. |

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil. | Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous; love does not brag, it is not arrogant. It does not act disgracefully, it does not seek its own benefit; it is not provoked, does not keep an account of a wrong suffered. |

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. | Flee sexual immorality. Every other sin that a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. |
