- Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
- Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

- A fool hath no delight in understanding,
but that his heart may discover itself. - The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
- For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
- Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
- But godliness with contentment is great gain.
- Because thy lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live:
I will lift up my hands in thy name. - For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
- Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not?
for riches certainly make themselves wings;
they fly away as an eagle toward heaven. - Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us. My flesh and my heart faileth:
but God is the strength of my heart,
