Jesus And Simon (3/4)

  • Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.
  • Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
  • “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
  • Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
  • And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
  • While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”
  • Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
  • There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
  • He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
    Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
  • From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
  • For I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.
  • Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
  • Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
  • For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  • After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.
  • I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
  • May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
  • Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
  • Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
  • Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
  • God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
  • But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
  • Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.”
  • I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Bible verse of the day

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.Next verse! With image
