Chinese (traditional)- “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “the one who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
- I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.
- Come forth! Let us bow down to worship him;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker. - Come to me, all you who are weary and overburdened, and I will give you rest.
- For the Lord himself is the one who bestows wisdom;
from his mouth come forth knowledge and understanding. - For the Son of Man has come to seek out and to save what was lost.
- From that day forward Jesus began to proclaim the message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.”
- As for you, my child, take strength from the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- After Jesus had been born in Bethlehem of Judea during the reign of King Herod, wise men traveled from the east and arrived in Jerusalem, inquiring, “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw the rising of his star, and we have come to pay him homage.”
- And every day, both in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming Jesus as the Christ.
- Jesus answered them,
“My teaching is not my own;
rather, it comes from him who sent me.” - Jesus replied,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
everyone who sins
is a slave of sin.” - In that way, I can come to you in joy, if God so wills, and be refreshed together with you.
- It was for this purpose that he called you through our gospel so that you might come to share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Jesus replied,
“This is the work of God:
to believe in the one whom he has sent.” - Jesus answered, “If it is possible! All things are possible for one who has faith.”
- The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all.
- For there is one God,
and there is one mediator between God and man,
Christ Jesus, himself a man. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- Above his head was inscribed the charge against him: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”
- For the wages of sin is death, but the gift freely given by God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- My soul thirsts for God, the living God.
When shall I come to behold the face of God? - Be on guard against false prophets who come to you disguised in sheep’s clothing, but who inwardly are ravenous wolves.
- Let your attitude be identical to that of Christ Jesus.
- The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
And every tongue should proclaim
to the glory of God the Father:
Jesus Christ is Lord.I do not say this because I have been in need, for I have learned to be content with whatever I have. Continue in all of the ways that the Lord, your God, has commanded you. Continue in them so that you may live and prosper and that you may long dwell on the land of your inheritance.Next verse!With image
