Jesus (3/4)

  • He called you to salvation when we told you the Good News; now you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do.”
  • May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
  • Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice.
  • On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me!”
  • The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
  • For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance.
  • There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.
  • And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.
  • For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
  • Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.
  • But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”
  • If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
  • Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
  • May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.
  • Then Jesus shouted, “Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!” And with those words he breathed his last.
  • Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.”
  • Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
  • And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
  • Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”
  • For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself in love.
  • Jesus replied, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.”
  • But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.
  • Asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.
  • All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.

Paul said, “John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. But John himself told the people to believe in the one who would come later, meaning Jesus.”

Bible verse of the day

Where is another God like you,
who pardons the guilt of the remnant,
overlooking the sins of his special people?
You will not stay angry with your people forever,
because you delight in showing unfailing love.
