- Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.
- Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
- And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.

- Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.To those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
