Keep (3/4)

  • And I will put My Spirit within you and bring it about that you walk in My statutes, and are careful and follow My ordinances.
  • Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
  • So remove sorrow from your heart and keep pain away from your body, because childhood and the prime of life are fleeting.
  • Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
  • In that I am commanding you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, so that you may live and become numerous, and that the Lord your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to take possession of it.
  • If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and listen to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your healer.
  • Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise;
    When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent.
  • As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.
  • You are my hiding place; You keep me from trouble;
    You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah
  • With every prayer and request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be alert with all perseverance and every request for all the saints.
  • Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them.
  • And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the Lord’s commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good?
  • For we have become partakers of Christ if we keep the beginning of our commitment firm until the end.
  • But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God.”
  • You, Lord, will not withhold Your compassion from me;
    Your mercy and Your truth will continually watch over me.
  • And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord your God commanded you to celebrate the Sabbath day.
  • When there are many words, wrongdoing is unavoidable,
    But one who restrains his lips is wise.
  • If we live by the Spirit, let’s follow the Spirit as well.
  • It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
  • In peace I will both lie down and sleep,
    For You alone, Lord, have me dwell in safety.
  • Rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer.
  • Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. For six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord your God; on it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male slave or your female slave, or your cattle, or your resident who stays with you. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and everything that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day; for that reason the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
  • For the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, in order to keep you from doing whatever you want.
  • But if the wicked person turns from all his sins which he has committed and keeps all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.
  • So then, let’s not sleep as others do, but let’s be alert and sober.

Avoiding strife is an honor for a person,
But any fool will quarrel.
