the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. - Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
- Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
- And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
- It is an honour for a man to cease from strife:
but every fool will be meddling. - But godliness with contentment is great gain.
- The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
