Bible Verses about 'Law'

All those who have sinned outside the Law will perish outside the Law, and all who sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law.For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law.
For no one can be regarded as justified in the sight of God by keeping the Law. The Law brings only the consciousness of sin.Because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin.
What then should we say? That the Law is sinful? Absolutely not! Yet if it had not been for the Law, I would not have known what sin was. I would not have known what covet is if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? Far from it! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law.The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law.
To do your will, O God, is my delight; your law is in my heart.I delight to do Your will, my God; Your Law is within my heart.
Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.
Love cannot result in any harm to the neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the Law.Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the Law.
Those who love your law have great peace; they encounter no stumbling blocks. Those who love Your Law have great peace, And nothing causes them to stumble.
When anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayer is detestable. One who turns his ear away from listening to the Law, Even his prayer is an abomination.
For Christ is the fulfillment of the Law for the justification of all who believe. For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in accord with the law of the Lord.Blessed are those whose way is blameless, Who walk in the Law of the Lord.
What then? Should we sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Of course not! What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it!
For sin is no longer to have any power over you, since you are not under the Law but under grace. For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace.
Everyone who sins breaks the law, for sin is lawlessness.Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.
Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
For the entire Law can be summed up in a single commandment: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners, yet we know that a man is justified not by the works of the Law but through faith in Jesus Christ. So we too came to believe in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in him and not by the works of the Law, for no one will be justified by the works of the Law.We are Jews by nature and not sinners from the Gentiles; nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified.
Owe nothing to anyone except the debt of love you owe one another. The one who loves others has fulfilled the Law.Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law.
In everything, deal with others as you would like them to deal with you. This is the Law and the Prophets. In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill them.Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.
I do not set aside the grace of God, for if justification comes through the Law, then Christ died for nothing.I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.
Those of you who seek to be justified by the Law have cut yourselves off from Christ and have fallen away from grace. You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by the Law; you have fallen from grace.
But now the righteousness of God that is attested by the Law and the Prophets has been manifested apart from law: the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. No distinction has been made. But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, but it is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction.
Indeed, under the Law almost everything is purified by blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. And almost all things are cleansed with blood, according to the Law, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
The law of the Lord is perfect, affording refreshment to the soul. The decree of the Lord is worthy of trust, imparting wisdom to the simple. The Law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

However, the one who looks intently at the perfect law of freedom and perseveres—not forgetting what he has heard but putting it into practice—will be blessed in everything he does. But one who has looked intently at the perfect law, the law of freedom, and has continued in it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an active doer, this person will be blessed in what he does.
