In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.
All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.
For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands.For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.
Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.And walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.
I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked.Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.

So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth.If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.
The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.
So let’s stop condemning each other. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not cause another believer to stumble and fall.Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.
Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?
We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do.For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.
And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live.I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body.
