- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in man. - Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Seek the Lord and his strength;
seek his presence continually! - May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.
- But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
- The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and kind in all his works. - Let us test and examine our ways,
and return to the Lord! - Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- The heart of man plans his way,
but the Lord establishes his steps. - For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- For whoever finds me finds life
and obtains favor from the Lord. - Salvation belongs to the Lord;
your blessing be on your people! Selah - So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord.
- When I thought, “My foot slips,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - For it is you who light my lamp;
the Lord my God lightens my darkness. - Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near. - But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established. - Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. - But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
- I sought the Lord, and he answered me
and delivered me from all my fears. - The Lord will keep you from all evil;
he will keep your life.
The Lord will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore. - Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name!
Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last. Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.Next verse!With image
