Love (2/4)

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.Dear children, let us love not in word or speech but in deed and truth.
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. With all humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another in a spirit of love.
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.Love one another with genuine affection. Esteem others more highly than yourself.
Let all your things be done with charity.Everything that you do should be done in love.
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.Jesus answered him, “Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him.”
For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. For from the beginning you have heard the message that we should love one another.
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.Above all, maintain the fervor of your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity but rather a spirit of power and of love and of wisdom.
So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. In the same way, husbands should love their wives as they do their own bodies. The man who loves his wife loves himself.
And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. And ‘to love him with all your heart, and with all your understanding, and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself,’ is worth more than any burnt offerings and sacrifices.
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.Owe nothing to anyone except the debt of love you owe one another. The one who loves others has fulfilled the Law.
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. For the entire Law can be summed up in a single commandment: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.May the Lord guide your hearts to the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. The tongue has the power over life and death; those who cherish it will enjoy its fruits.
And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.May the Lord cause your love to increase and overflow for one another and for everyone else, just as our love does for you.
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.Rather, professing truth and love, we will in all things grow into him who is the head, Christ.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.But I say to you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. This is what love is: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins.
He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. One who forgives a misdeed fosters friendship, but he who divulges it separates good friends.
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. But as for you, man of God, you must shun all this. Rather, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, fortitude, and gentleness.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.Since in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor lack of circumcision is worth anything. All that matters is faith expressing itself through love.
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. This is how we know what love is: he laid down his life for us, and we in turn must be prepared to lay down our lives for our brethren.

Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. However, each one of you should love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife should respect her husband.
