- May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.
- And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.
- But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
- I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.
- Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.
- And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
- You are altogether beautiful, my darling,
beautiful in every way. - Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.
- Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting for those who belong to the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and never treat them harshly.
- Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord,
for our hope is in you alone. - For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself in love.
- Let your favor shine on your servant.
In your unfailing love, rescue me. - You who love the Lord, hate evil!
He protects the lives of his godly people
and rescues them from the power of the wicked. - I cried out, “I am slipping!”
but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me. - If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?
- And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
- Place me like a seal over your heart,
like a seal on your arm.
For love is as strong as death,
its jealousy as enduring as the grave.
Love flashes like fire,
the brightest kind of flame. - But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you.
- If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
- Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.
- Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?
- I love the Lord because he hears my voice
and my prayer for mercy.
Because he bends down to listen,
I will pray as long as I have breath! - If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.
- Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!
His faithful love endures forever. But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.Next verse! With image
