Chinese (traditional)- When I said, “My foot is slipping,”
your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. - But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
- Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.
- Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever. - The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love. - May your unfailing love be with us, Lord,
even as we put our hope in you. - You, Lord, are forgiving and good,
abounding in love to all who call to you. - What a person desires is unfailing love;
better to be poor than a liar. - Whoever pursues righteousness and love
finds life, prosperity and honor. - Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
- He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
- By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
- Great peace have those who love your law,
and nothing can make them stumble. - Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
- For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
- Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
- Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
- May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.
- And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
- To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,
for they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth
and my rebellious ways;
according to your love remember me,
for you, Lord, are good. - For great is your love, reaching to the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches to the skies. - The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit. - Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord;
may your love and faithfulness always protect me. - And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Better a patient person than a warrior,
one with self-control than one who takes a city. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.Next verse!With image
