Chinese (traditional)- Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.
- For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- Blessed is the man
that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners,
nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. - Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- He that walketh with wise men shall be wise:
but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. - And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
- I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.
- As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. - If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
- Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
- Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
- And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
- What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
and the son of man, that thou visitest him? - For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
- How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
- But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
- For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
- But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
- He that walketh uprightly walketh surely:
but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. - The desire of a man is his kindness:
and a poor man is better than a liar. - Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
- For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
- Who will render to every man according to his deeds.
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.Next verse! With image
