- For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
- For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour; If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.
- I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.
- If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
- He that walketh with wise men shall be wise:
but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. - And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
- Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
- What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
and the son of man, that thou visitest him? - As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. - Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
- And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
- For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
- But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
- But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
- It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
- For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
- Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way?
by taking heed thereto according to thy word. - And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
- For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
- Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
- And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
He that walketh uprightly walketh surely:
but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.Next verse! With image
