And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
For the Lord your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.For the Lord your God will bless you, as he promised you, and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow, and you shall rule over many nations, but they shall not rule over you.
A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked. Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?

It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man.It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.

And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.
A fool’s wrath is known at once, But a prudent man covers shame.The vexation of a fool is known at once, but the prudent ignores an insult.
I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you should be afraid Of a man who will die, And of the son of a man who will be made like grass?I, I am he who comforts you; who are you that you are afraid of man who dies, of the son of man who is made like grass.
For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.
What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.So I will show my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.
But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.
How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word.
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way.

A perverse man sows strife, And a whisperer separates the best of friends.A dishonest man spreads strife, and a whisperer separates close friends.
