- That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.
- Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
- What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
- Salvation belongeth unto the Lord:
thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. - Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
- And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.
- The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
- Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
- And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
- That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love.
- That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.
- Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
- And therefore will the Lord wait,
that he may be gracious unto you,
and therefore will he be exalted,
that he may have mercy upon you:
for the Lord is a God of judgment:
blessed are all they that wait for him. - And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
- And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
- But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.
- Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.
- No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
- Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
- Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
- My flesh and my heart faileth:
but God is the strength of my heart,
and my portion for ever. - Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
- A fool hath no delight in understanding,
but that his heart may discover itself. - Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
