Of all the creatures living in the water, you may eat any that has fins and scales. But anything that does not have fins and scales you may not eat; for you it is unclean. | These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat: And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you. |
So that I may come to you with joy, by God’s will, and in your company be refreshed. | That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed. |
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people. | The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. |
The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all. | Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. |

A person’s riches may ransom their life, but the poor cannot respond to threatening rebukes. | The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke. |
Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation. | As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. |
Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. | For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. |

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love. | That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love. |
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. | The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. |
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. | Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. |
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you. | Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. |

And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming. | And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. |
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. | The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. |
