  • Your word I have hidden in my heart,
    That I might not sin against You.

  • For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
  • Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word.
  • We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

    O God of my fathers;
    You have given me wisdom and might,
    And have now made known to me what we asked of You,
    For You have made known to us the king’s demand.

To which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
