| I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! | That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God. | So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. |

| But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive! | Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is with those who uphold my life. |
| God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God. | Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God. |
