| Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's. | You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor. |
| Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. | Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. |

| And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. | And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ |
