Chinese (traditional)- Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!
- Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
- All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
- Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
- However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”—
the things God has prepared for those who love him. - By day the Lord directs his love,
at night his song is with me—
a prayer to the God of my life. - No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
- Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
- Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
- No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.
- But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.
- “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”
- I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
- Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
- You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand. - I made a covenant with my eyes
not to look lustfully at a young woman. - Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
- Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
- You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
- For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!
- No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.
- God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.
- And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.
- Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
I will not forget you!
See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are ever before me. - Repent at my rebuke!
Then I will pour out my thoughts to you,
I will make known to you my teachings.
If a man has recently married, he must not be sent to war or have any other duty laid on him. For one year he is to be free to stay at home and bring happiness to the wife he has married.See, the enemy is puffed up;
his desires are not upright—
but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness. Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.Next verse!With image
