Bible Verses about 'Once'

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.
A fool’s anger is known at once, But a prudent person conceals dishonor.A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.
So Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
But now in Christ Jesus you who previously were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Or do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
And having been perfected, He became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey Him.And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.
And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord your God commanded you to celebrate the Sabbath day.And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the Lord thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
But sexual immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among saints. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints.
He will again take pity on us; He will trample on our wrongdoings. Yes, You will cast all their sins Into the depths of the sea.He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Why are you in despair, my soul? And why are you restless within me? Wait for God, for I will again praise Him For the help of His presence, my God.Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by people.Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
But when they saw Him walking on the sea, they thought that it was a ghost, and they cried out; for they all saw Him and were terrified. But immediately He spoke with them and said to them, “Take courage; it is I, do not be afraid.”But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out: For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.
A highway will be there, a roadway, And it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, But it will be for the one who walks that way, And fools will not wander on it.And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose on their behalf. For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He listened to our pleading. So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.
What is man that You think of him, And a son of man that You are concerned about him? What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
One who conceals hatred has lying lips, And one who spreads slander is a fool.He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.
Blessings are on the head of the righteous, But the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
One who conceals an offense seeks love, But one who repeats a matter separates close friends. He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.
One who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets, But one who is trustworthy conceals a matter.A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.
One who conceals his wrongdoings will not prosper, But one who confesses and abandons them will find compassion. He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Therefore, concerning the eating of food sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing at all in the world, and that there is no God but one.As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.

The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Your faithfulness, Lord, is everlasting; Do not abandon the works of Your hands. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
