- For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light.

Yes, You will cast all their sins
Into the depths of the sea. - Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

For the help of His presence, my God. - You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by people.

- So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He listened to our pleading.
- What is man that You think of him,
And a son of man that You are concerned about him? - One who conceals hatred has lying lips,
And one who spreads slander is a fool. - Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
But the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. - One who conceals an offense seeks love,
But one who repeats a matter separates close friends. - One who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets,
But one who is trustworthy conceals a matter. - One who conceals his wrongdoings will not prosper,
But one who confesses and abandons them will find compassion. - Therefore, concerning the eating of food sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing at all in the world, and that there is no God but one.
- The Lord will accomplish what concerns me;
Your faithfulness, Lord, is everlasting;
Do not abandon the works of Your hands. - Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him Immanuel.
- Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility consider one another as more important than yourselves.

- But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God.”
