- But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.

The unclean shall not pass over it,
but it will be for those who walk in the Way.
Wicked fools shall not go there. - For the love of Christ compels us; because we judge thus: that one died for all, therefore all died. He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.
- He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper,
but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. - Doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself.
- Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
- Yahweh will fulfill that which concerns me.
Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever.
Don’t forsake the works of your own hands. - But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear.
- The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- Be of the same mind one toward another. Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits.
- By faith even Sarah herself received power to conceive, and she bore a child when she was past age, since she counted him faithful who had promised.
- The angel said to her, “Don’t be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and shall name him ‘Jesus.’”
