- For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.

as the east is from the west. - We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.
- Teach us to realize the brevity of life,

but we boast in the name of the Lord our God. - Once again you will have compassion on us.
You will trample our sins under your feet
and throw them into the depths of the ocean! - But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws;
our heart’s desire is to glorify your name. - No one is holy like the Lord!
There is no one besides you;
there is no Rock like our God. - Bring your confessions, and return to the Lord.
Say to him,
“Forgive all our sins and graciously receive us,
so that we may offer you our praises.” - For we will be counted as righteous when we obey all the commands the Lord our God has given us.
- But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.
- For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
- He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.
- The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
- Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
- We can make our plans,
but the Lord determines our steps. - God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.
- This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
- For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.
- Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen. - Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”
- And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
