Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Patient'
- Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.
- And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
- The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.
- He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. - Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him:
fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. - He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding:
but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly. - With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.
- But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
- For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
- Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. - And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
- Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
- Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
- For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills,
from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord,
which made heaven and earth.Next verse! With image
