A fool’s anger is known at once, But a prudent person conceals dishonor.Fools show their anger at once, but the prudent ignore an insult.
A person has joy in an apt answer, And how delightful is a timely word!To make an apt answer is a joy to anyone, and a word in season, how good it is!
But if the wicked person turns from all his sins which he has committed and keeps all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.But if the wicked turn away from all their sins that they have committed and keep all my statutes and do what is lawful and right, they shall surely live; they shall not die.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.Listen! I am standing at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to you and eat with you, and you with me.
Your adornment must not be merely the external—braiding the hair, wearing gold jewelry, or putting on apparel; but it should be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.Do not adorn yourselves outwardly by braiding your hair, and by wearing gold ornaments or fine clothing; rather, let your adornment be the inner self with the lasting beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God's sight.
For if the willingness is present, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have. For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.

A wicked person earns deceptive wages, But one who sows righteousness gets a true reward. The wicked earn no real gain, but those who sow righteousness get a true reward.
Brothers and sisters, even if a person is caught in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual are to restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you are not tempted as well.My friends, if anyone is detected in a transgression, you who have received the Spirit should restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness. Take care that you yourselves are not tempted.
Anxiety in a person’s heart weighs it down, But a good word makes it glad.Anxiety weighs down the human heart, but a good word cheers it up.
The ransom of a person’s life is his wealth, But the poor hears no rebuke.Wealth is a ransom for a person's life, but the poor get no threats.
A prudent person sees evil and hides himself; But the naive proceed, and pay the penalty. The clever see danger and hide; but the simple go on, and suffer for it.
I have seen that every labor and every skill which is done is the result of rivalry between a person and his neighbor. This too is futility and striving after wind. Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from one person's envy of another. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind.
For what good will it do a person if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul? For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what will they give in return for their life?
We are Jews by nature and not sinners from the Gentiles; nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified. We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!
You know this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Now everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. You must understand this, my beloved: let everyone be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.
Now if a person sins and does any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, though he was unaware, he is still guilty and shall bear his punishment. If any of you sin without knowing it, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, you have incurred guilt, and are subject to punishment.
Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
For what does it benefit a person to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life?
