- Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable. - For it is written:
“As I live, says the Lord,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.” - But I will sacrifice to You
With the voice of thanksgiving;
I will pay what I have vowed.
Salvation is of the Lord. - Sing to the Lord,
For He has done excellent things;
This is known in all the earth. - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
- My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You,
And my soul, which You have redeemed. - Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.

And rejoice before Him.
A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows,
Is God in His holy habitation. - The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime,
And in the night His song shall be with me—
A prayer to the God of my life. - But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne,
And to the Lamb, forever and ever!” - Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. And he said:
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
And naked shall I return there.
The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away;
Blessed be the name of the Lord.” - Who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting.
