His praise will last forever. - Your kindness is a greater joy than life itself;
thus my lips will speak your praise.
I will bless you all my life;
with uplifted hands I will call on your name. - Why are you so disheartened, O my soul?
Why do you sigh within me?
Place your hope in God;
for I will once again praise him,
my Savior and my God. - Bless the Lord, O my soul;
my entire being, bless his holy name. - O Lord, you are my God.
I will exalt you and praise your name,
for you have accomplished wonderful things,
formulated in ages past, faithful and sure. - Therefore, now I, Nebuchadnezzar,
praise and exalt and glorify
the King of heaven.
For all of his works are right,
and all of his ways are just.

all those who follow the path of pride. - To you, O God of my fathers,
I offer thanks and praise
because you have given me wisdom and power.

what we asked of you;
you have revealed to us the king’s dream. - I lifted up my voice in prayer to him;
his praise was on my tongue. - I will offer praise to you, O Lord,
with my whole heart;
I will recount all your wondrous deeds. - You created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

will offer sacrifice to you.
What I have vowed I will fulfill.
Salvation comes from the Lord. - And you will say on that day:
Give thanks to the Lord,
invoke his name;
make known his deeds among the nations;
proclaim that his name is exalted. - Some trust in chariots, and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord, our God. - Blessed be the Lord, day after day,

- Nor would someone light a lamp and then put it under a basket; rather, it is placed upon a lampstand so that it may afford light to all in the house. In the same way, your light must shine so that it can be seen by others; this will enable them to observe your good works and give praise to your Father in heaven.

Men committed shameful acts with men and received in their own persons the fitting penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since these people did not see fit to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their depraved way of thinking and to all types of vile behavior.
