Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Profit'
- In all labour there is profit:
but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury. - For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
- Treasures of wickedness profit nothing:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - Riches profit not in the day of wrath:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
- For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
- And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house.
- And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
- All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
- And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
- The wicked worketh a deceitful work:
but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. - When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?
- All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.Next verse!With image
