- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - You have given me the shield of your salvation,
and your right hand supported me,
and your gentleness made me great.
You gave a wide place for my steps under me,
and my feet did not slip. - The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge. - The law of the Lord is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple. - The precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes. - Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in your sight,
O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. - May he grant you your heart's desire
and fulfill all your plans! - Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. - The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters. - Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me. - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. - The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof,
the world and those who dwell therein. - Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory! Selah - Make me to know your ways, O Lord;
teach me your paths. - Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long. - Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me,
for the sake of your goodness, O Lord! - Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way. - The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war arise against me,
yet I will be confident. - One thing have I asked of the Lord,
that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord
and to inquire in his temple. - I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living! - Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord! - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;
my heart exults,
and with my song I give thanks to him. - May the Lord give strength to his people!
May the Lord bless his people with peace! - For his anger is but for a moment,
and his favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may tarry for the night,
but joy comes with the morning.
In you, O Lord, do I take refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me!All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us). Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.Next verse!With image
