Chinese (traditional)- For not by their own sword did they win the land,
nor did their own arm save them,
but your right hand and your arm,
and the light of your face,
for you delighted in them. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! - Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your steadfast love;
according to your abundant mercy
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin! - Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a right spirit within me. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. - Behold, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life. - Cast your burden on the Lord,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved. - When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
- In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me? - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens!
Let your glory be over all the earth! - For your steadfast love is great to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the clouds. - But I will sing of your strength;
I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
For you have been to me a fortress
and a refuge in the day of my distress.
To make an apt answer is a joy to a man,
and a word in season, how good it is! Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper,
but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.Next verse!With image
